⚙️ How It Works
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Go to WooCommerce Settings Free Gift.
- Select the product you want to give away for free.
- (Optional) Set a minimum order amount and the gift quantity.
- Save — that’s it. The gift is added automatically.

giftpilot-auto-gift-for-woocommercefolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to WooCommerce Settings Free Gift to select your free gift product.
- (Optional) Set a minimum order amount and the free gift quantity. Leave the amount empty to always add the gift.

Can I use a variable product as the free gift?

No. The free gift must be a simple product with its price set to 0.

Can I give more than one free gift per order?

Yes. In the plugin settings, set the “Free Gift Quantity” field to any number of units you want to give away per order. The plugin will respect the gift product’s available stock.

How does the minimum order amount work?

If you set a minimum amount in the plugin settings, the gift is only added when the cart subtotal is greater than or equal to that amount. If you leave the field empty or set it to 0, the gift is added to every order.

Can the customer remove the free gift?

The customer can remove it, but the plugin will re-add it automatically while the cart meets the minimum amount condition.

Can I turn the promotion off without losing my settings?

Yes. Uncheck the “Enable Free Gift” box in the plugin settings. Your product selection, quantity, and minimum amount are kept, so you can turn it back on anytime.
