You decide what your AI assistant can access and which changes it can make. #### Everyday website updates, handled from your chat Some tasks are easier to explain than to do manually. Try asking: * “Write a welcome post for our new service and save it as a draft.” * “Read our About page and suggest a clearer introduction before changing anything.” * “Update this post’s SEO title and meta description with the wording I’ve approved.” * “Upload this image and set it as the featured image for my latest draft.” * “Find our articles about dental implants and suggest which ones need a refresh.” Your assistant can work with your website’s content, so you don’t have to paste everything into the conversation yourself. Available actions depend on the permissions you enable and the integrations installed on your site. #### What you can do **Create and update content** Write drafts, edit existing posts and pages, and publish when publishing permission is enabled. Manage categories, tags, and comments from the same conversation. **Update SEO titles and descriptions** Work with supported Yoast SEO and Rank Math fields without opening each post’s SEO panel manually. **Manage images** Upload images from a supported URL to your Media Library and assign featured images to posts. **Work with Elementor content** Update supported Elementor page data and refresh its CSS cache. Check the resulting page layout after making changes. **Read and review your website** Use read-only access when you want your assistant to review content and suggest improvements without making changes. #### Choose how much access to give You don’t have to give your AI assistant full control of your website. * Start with the Read Only preset, or choose your own permissions. * Allow or restrict publishing, editing published content, and deleting content or media. * Set how long AI access stays active. * Review completed actions in the activity log. * Regenerate your connection link when you need to revoke the old link. The assistant acts through a non-administrator WordPress user, and each action is checked against that user’s permissions. It cannot install plugins, switch themes, manage users, or edit your website’s code. #### 1,000 credits per month WP AI Connect includes 1,000 credits per month for supported AI actions on your connected website. You can check your usage and licence details in the plugin dashboard. Review the current plan details on our website before connecting. Your chosen AI assistant’s account requirements and any separate subscription charges also apply. #### Connect your preferred AI assistant WP AI Connect works with Claude, ChatGPT, and other compatible assistants that support custom MCP connections. MCP is the connection that lets your assistant work with WordPress. You don’t need to write code to use it. Install the plugin, follow the connection instructions, choose your permissions, and try your first task. We believe in being fully open about what is shared, so here are the details. #### WP AI Connect hub (connect.satvikinfotech.com) Provided by Satvik Infotech. The hub securely links your site with your AI assistant, handles Google sign-in, and manages your licence and usage. **Nothing is sent until an administrator clicks “Agree & connect”.** After you agree, the following is shared: * **Registration** (when you agree, when you open the plugin’s settings page, and at most every 5 minutes while an administrator is using wp-admin): site URL, the site’s connection key, plugin version, and whether you opted in to product updates. * **Optional, off by default:** administrator names and email addresses, and install/ update events, are sent **only if you tick the separate opt-in box** on the consent screen. You can connect without it. If you opt in, these details are used to send product updates and tips and to check compatibility. * **Status, time-limited access and link resets** (when you open the settings page or use these buttons): site URL and connection key. * **Activity log** (when AI performs an action): site URL and a short description of the action and its result, for example “Updated a post — completed”. * **Error reports** (when the plugin blocks a risky action or hits an error): site URL, the error message and plugin version. * **Install and update events** (only if you opted in; when you agree, when the plugin updates and when it is deactivated): site URL, WordPress, PHP and plugin versions, active theme name, whether WooCommerce is active, site language and a timestamp. * **Licence and access requests** (when you enter a licence key, or approve or deny an access request): site URL, the licence key or email address entered, and your decision. * **Uninstall** (when the plugin is deleted): site URL and connection key, so the hub can remove your site’s records. Your content only passes through the hub when your AI assistant reads or edits it at your request. Your database and passwords are never sent. It connects your WordPress website to Claude, ChatGPT, or another compatible AI assistant. You can ask the assistant to read content, create drafts, edit pages, and perform supported SEO and media tasks within the permissions you allow. ### Do I need coding experience? No. Setup involves installing the plugin, choosing permissions, and adding a connection to your AI assistant. The plugin provides the connection details. ### Does this add a chatbot to my website? No. WP AI Connect helps you manage your website through your own AI assistant. It does not add a visitor-facing chat widget. ### Can I review content before publishing? Yes. You can ask your assistant to save new content as a draft and keep publishing permission disabled. Editing an already published page is a separate permission, so check that setting too. ### Can I use it without allowing changes? Yes. Choose the Read Only preset to let your assistant review accessible content without editing it. ### Does it work with Yoast SEO and Rank Math? Yes. WP AI Connect supports updating SEO titles and meta descriptions through its supported Yoast SEO and Rank Math integrations. The relevant SEO plugin must be installed and active. ### Does it work with Elementor? WP AI Connect supports updates to Elementor page data and can refresh the Elementor CSS cache. This does not mean every layout or third-party Elementor widget is supported. Preview affected pages after making changes. ### How many credits are included? WP AI Connect includes 1,000 credits per month. Check your dashboard for usage and your current plan details. ### Do I need a Claude or ChatGPT account? Yes. You need an account with an AI assistant that supports the required custom connection. Available features and subscription requirements depend on that provider. ### Can the assistant install plugins or change my website’s code? No. WP AI Connect is designed for content-related work. The assistant cannot manage users, install plugins, switch themes, or edit website code. ### Does my content pass through an external service? Yes. WP AI Connect uses a hosted hub operated by Satvik Infotech to connect your website and AI assistant. Content requested or changed by your assistant passes through that hub and is processed by your chosen AI provider. See the External Services section for details. ### How do I stop access?
