Emails are sent using your site's <code>wp_mail()<\/code> configuration. Guest data can be exported or erased from <strong>Tools \u2192 Export \/ Erase Personal Data<\/strong>, and suggested privacy policy text is added to <strong>Settings \u2192 Privacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you enable payments, order requests containing the amount, currency and an internal reference are sent to the Razorpay API, and the guest's name, email and phone are pre-filled in Razorpay Checkout. Guests who RSVP \"yes\" are sent to a secure payment page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Test with Razorpay test keys first. Webhooks need a site that is reachable from the internet.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20%22mark%20refunded%22%20send%20the%20money%20back%3F\"><h3>Does \"Mark refunded\" send the money back?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. It only updates the status in WordPress. Issue the refund in the Razorpay dashboard \u2014 with the webhook set up, the status changes to Refunded automatically.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20guests%20change%20their%20rsvp%3F\"><h3>Can guests change their RSVP?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Every confirmation and invitation email contains a private link. If someone submits the form again with the same email address, the plugin emails them that link instead of overwriting the existing answer. You can also copy a guest's link from the Guests screen.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20does%20the%20capacity%20limit%20work%3F\"><h3>How does the capacity limit work?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Set <strong>Capacity (max people)<\/strong> on the event; <code>0<\/code> means unlimited. Only \"Yes\" answers count, including the people they bring. When the event is full, guests can still answer \"Maybe\" or \"No\".<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20import%20guests%3F\"><h3>How do I import guests?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Upload a CSV file under <strong>HAQ Events \u2192 Guests \u2192 Import from CSV<\/strong>. The columns are <code>name<\/code> and <code>email<\/code> (required), and <code>phone<\/code>, <code>invited_count<\/code> and <code>dietary_notes<\/code> (optional). Guests with an email that already exists for the event are updated, not duplicated. In Excel, save as \"CSV UTF-8\".<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20show%20events%20on%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>How do I show events on my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Every event has its own page, and all events are listed at <code>\/events\/<\/code>. You can also add the event list, calendar, RSVP form or countdown to any page with the shortcodes listed in the description.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20other%20people%20manage%20their%20own%20events%3F\"><h3>Can other people manage their own events?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Create a user with the <strong>HAQ Event Organizer<\/strong> role. They can create and manage their own events, guests, RSVPs, budgets, tasks and payments, but cannot see other organizers' events or change the plugin settings.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"guests%20aren%27t%20receiving%20emails.%20what%20should%20i%20do%3F\"><h3>Guests aren't receiving emails. What should I do?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Install an SMTP plugin, set the sender email under <strong>HAQ Events \u2192 Settings<\/strong> to an address on your own domain, and ask guests to check their spam folder.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"reminder%20emails%20weren%27t%20sent.\"><h3>Reminder emails weren't sent.<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Reminders are scheduled when you publish or update an event, so the reminder date must still be in the future at that point. They are sent by WP-Cron, which needs visitors to your site \u2014 on low-traffic sites ask your host to set up a real cron job.
